Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

Givese is an independent online platform that enables organizations to collect payments

and account for them. This Acceptable Use Policy defines the guidelines

and conditions under which account holders may use Givese for payment collection.

By completing the account sign-up process, users acknowledge that they have read,

understood, and agreed to abide by this policy.

2. Updates to the AUP

Givese may modify this policy at any time at its sole discretion. Any updates will take effect

immediately upon being posted on our website and will apply to all users moving forward. If

any changes significantly impact how you use Givese services, we will notify you via email.

3. Prohibited Organisations

At Givese, we strive to provide an inclusive platform where diverse perspectives can be

shared. However, we do not endorse or take responsibility for the views expressed by our

users. Content posted on payment pages reflects the opinions of the account holders, not

Givese.

The platform must not be used for fundraising activities that involve or promote:

3.1 Illegal or Deceptive Activities

  • Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws or regulations.

  • Fraudulent, misleading, deceptive, or dishonest campaigns, including impersonation

of individuals or organizations.

3.2 Prohibited Products and Services

  • The sale, distribution, or promotion of illegal drugs, narcotics, steroids, controlled

substances, or drug paraphernalia.

  • Transactions involving weapons, including firearms, explosives, ammunition, knives,

or other weaponry and related accessories.

3.3 High-Risk Financial Transactions

  • Gambling, betting, lotteries, or any other activity involving entry fees and monetary

prizes, including casino games, fantasy sports, sports betting, and sweepstakes.

  • The sale of investments, annuities, layaway systems, offshore banking services,

money service businesses (such as check cashing and currency exchanges), and

cryptocurrency-related services.

  • The collection of payments for goods or services before the seller has control or

possession of the item.

  • Transactions processed on behalf of third parties, such as acting as a payment

intermediary.

  • Credit repair, debt settlement, or financial fraud schemes.

3.4 Harmful or Exploitative Content

  • Any form of human trafficking, exploitation, ransom demands, or any activity that puts

individuals at risk.

  • Organisations that promote or glorify violence, hate speech, or discrimination

against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual

orientation, disability, nationality, or other immutable characteristics.

  • Content that includes dehumanizing rhetoric directed toward any racial or ethnic

group.

  • Organisations related to illegal or unethical activities, including but not limited to the

funding of violent activities or criminal enterprises.

3.5 Inappropriate or Offensive Content

  • Pornography, sexually explicit material, or any other adult content.

  • Graphic, perverse, or highly offensive imagery or descriptions.

3.6 Misuse of Rewards and Incentives

  • Offering monetary incentives (such as gift cards) without transparently declaring the

fair market value of goods or services exchanged.

3.7 Organisations Affected by Legal Rulings

  • Organizations or individuals who have been legally

sanctioned or ruled against in a court of law may be subject to additional review.

  • Givese will comply with law enforcement agencies and may restrict payments based

on legally binding rulings.

If you believe an organisation violates this policy, please report it to hello@givese.com for review.

4. Interpretation of Terms

Givese retains full discretion in interpreting the provisions of this Acceptable Use Policy and

in making final decisions regarding violations and disputes.

5. Non-Compliance and Enforcement

If an account is suspected of violating these terms, it will undergo an internal review. The

outcome of this review will be final and not subject to further discussion. Possible actions for

violations include, but are not limited to:

  • Warning Notice – Givese may issue a written notice informing the account holder

that their account is under review and specifying corrective actions.

  • Content Removal Request – Givese may request the immediate removal of

violating content to avoid further penalties.

  • Account Suspension – The account may be temporarily suspended while the

review is in progress or until necessary changes are made.

  • Permanent Ban – If the violation is severe, Givese may permanently terminate the

offending account, preventing future access to the platform.

5.1 Prior Offenses and Reinstatement

If an individual or organization has previously committed a bannable offense, even before

using Givese, they may be eligible to create an account after a minimum of three years

from the date of the incident. However, reinstatement is subject to:

  • A case-by-case review by Givese.

  • If deemed necessary, a public apology or formal renouncement of previous actions.

Givese reserves the exclusive right to determine the conditions under which such users may

resume using the platform.

5.2 Compliance with Legal Orders

If a court ruling has been issued against an individual or organization, Givese will defer to

the legal judgment in determining whether their account will be permitted.

Additionally, if legally compelled by a subpoena or court order, Givese will provide

relevant user data to official law enforcement agencies.

6. Reporting Violations

If you come across an organisation that appears to violate this policy, please contact Givese to

report the issue. Our team will review the complaint and take appropriate action based on

our findings.

7. Final Provisions

  • Givese retains full discretion in determining what constitutes a violation of this

Acceptable Use Policy.

  • Users are responsible for staying informed of updates to this policy.

  • Givese reserves the right to update, modify, or enforce this policy at any time.

By using the Givese platform, you agree to comply with this policy and acknowledge that

violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
